I have a few questions about the zig-zag stitching along the edge of the quilt in the post. After I have finished quilting and squaring, I zig-zag the edge to prepare it for binding. The zig-zag is so large that it only takes me a few seconds to complete. It also makes the edges neat and tidy while I am sewing on the binding. It’s something I have been doing for a long time after Amber talked about serging edges. Since I do not own a serger I use the zig-zag. You’ll love it. 🙂
